Tottenham excited to get back to White Hart Lane – Mason
Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason is confident of beating Stoke City at White Hart Lane on Saturday, despite struggling against the Potters last season. However, Mauricio Pochettino’s club didn’t allow the pity party to last long before switching gears to try and find something to build on from that defeat. “It will be awesome to experience the atmosphere created by all the Tottenham fans – obviously they were great at Old Trafford last week but I’m really excited to finally go out and play at home with everyone right behind the team”, the 19-year-old told the club’s official website.
Last season Pochettino saw strikers Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor offer next to nothing by way of support to Kane, the pair managing just three Premier League goals between them.
Alli hasn’t played a competitive game in front of his new team’s home crowd, and hopes to quickly change that.
“I think you’ve got to look at the positives from a situation like this”, Spurs defender Ben Davies said. We are hopeful of a good year and to have someone here of Xherdan’s undoubted ability is fantastic.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper sustained a fractured wrist in pre-season and was only fit enough to start the season-opener at Manchester United from the bench, although he played 90 minutes for Spurs’ Under-21s against Everton on Monday.
Shaqiri has his sights set on playing Saturday and quickly proving to his teammates, Stoke supporters and Premier League opponents that he’s worth the his transfer fee. All players are fit and this is good news for us.
