Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to miss Fiorentina and Crystal Palace clashes
Fiorentina finished second in their group for FC Basel but don’t let that underplay how big of a threat they are.
Michel Vorm is set to deputise for Lloris in Florence as Spurs attempt to secure a positive result against Paulo Sousa’s side, who knocked the Premier League outfit out of the competition last season.
Hugo Lloris suffered a knock to his shoulder in the dying seconds of Tottenham’s 2-1 win over Manchester City on Sunday.
Tottenham will make the trip to Italy on Thursday evening hoping to continue their superb league form in the Europa League knockout stages after topping their group.

Fiorentina dumped a very different Spurs team in Florence, one that started Roberto Soldado up top and a CB pairing of Vlad Chiriches and Federico Fazio.
“Hugo is our captain and is a very important player for us”, said Pochettino.
Spurs themselves have fallen victim to this problem over the last two seasons.
BT Sport expert Harry Redknapp, who was speaking ahead of the return of the UEFA Europa League on BT Sport said: “I don’t think he (Pochettino) will put the Europa League on the backburner”.
The 29-year-old has helped Spurs to the best defensive record in the league so far this term and he was injured clawing Sergio Aguero’s cross off the head of Pablo Zabaleta as City pushed for an equaliser in stoppage time.
