Toy Story 4 gets official release date
Toy Story 4 has been delayed as its release has been put back to 2018.
WALT DISNEY: kicked the bucket about 50 years back, yet the organization that bears his name is doing exceptionally well, thankyouverymuch.
Producing creatively satisfying sequels like those in the “Toy Story” series are yet another way Pixar has defied expectations over the last decades. “Coco” will still open in 2017, but “Toy Story 4” will now open in the summer of 2018 – one year later than previously planned. Despite that, of the next six Pixar films, four of them will be sequels.
Live-action remakes of Disney classics, which have to be revealed, will also arrive in the next few years. We know that Will McCormack and Rashida Jones are working on the script that is confirmed to be a love story that will center on the relationship between Bo Beep and Woody.
A year later, “Incredibles 2” will be released to movie theaters on June 21, 2019.
An untitled Disneytoon Studios movie has also been placed for April 12, 2019.
Josh Cooley, described by Disney Pixar as a “rising star” of its creative team, will co-direct alongside John Lasseter, who helmed the first two Toy Story films.
Like they did with Marvel, Disney reserved future spots for two still untitled Pixar animations in 2020, March 13th and June 19th.
Bird added that while he agrees with Steven Spielberg’s assessment that there are too many superhero movies today, he stressed about his views on movie characters. Three additional yet untitled Marvel films are scheduled for 2020. TOY STORY 4 was originally slotted for that June 2017 date, but, for one reason or another, it has been daleyed until June 15, 2018. So far, Pixar has largely overcome these hurdles, with “Up” and “WALL-E” not only receiving critical acclaim but becoming box office successes, though recent films like “University” and “Brave” received more mixed reviews.
