Toy Story 4 Will Be A Woody And Bo Peep Love Story
The first details about the fourth entry in the series are starting to leak through as D23, Disney’s official fan convention, kicks off its first day. Already we have a juicy little tidbit about one of the most anticipated projects, Toy Story 4.
Disney Chief Creative Officer John Lasseter confirmed on Friday what fans have speculated about for the better part of a year: “Toy Story 4” will revolve around a romance between the blockbuster’s main character, a toy cowboy voiced by Tom Hanks, and a nursery rhyme doll.
The Toy Story 4 love story may not be a direct continuation from Toy Story’s third installment, and moviegoers will be able to see it in 2017. According to Woody, Bo Peep was sold or given away.
“It’s a love story with Woody and-and this is news-Bo Peep.”
We hope Buzz doesn’t get jealous! That’s our rule. We don’t do things just to print money’. Since then we’ve also heard that the film will focus primarily on the toys, not the humans. “We don’t want to do anything with them unless it lives up to or surpasses what’s gone before”.
Toy Story 4 was announced back in 2014 and at the time actress Rashida Jones and her producing partner Will McCormack were reportedly co-writing the script. While there aren’t any more details about the film right now, we expect to get more later today, at 3 p.m., when John Lasseter will host a big panel about animation at the Walt Disney Animation and Pixar Animation Studios.
