Train collision in Germany injures dozens, unknown number of fatalities

Several people have been killed in an early morning crash involving two trains in Bavaria, Germany, police say.
The number of casualties was not immediately clear.
Police also spoke of “light and severely injured” victims aboard the commuter trains, one of which was derailed following the crash at 6.48 am near a sewage works.
Police spokesman Stefan Sonntag told The Associated Press the two regional trains crashed near Bad Aibling, in Bavaria before 7 a.m. and that several wagons overturned.
Dpa reported that one train derailed in the crash this morning, and several carriages overturned.
Mr Sonntag said at least two people had died in the crash, but that the scene of the accident is so chaotic, there are no specific numbers over the amount of dead or injured.
Police said rescue workers are trying to free people still trapped in the wreckage.
