Transit agencies offers free rides for New Year’s Eve
If your New Year’s Eve celebration involves alcohol, it may be better to leave the driving to somebody else.
Workers at the law firm said just call a cab, get a ride from one location to your home, pay the cab driver and send the bill to The Sawaya Law Firm for reimbursement.
For the past eight years, McDivitt has worked to keep the streets safe by offering free cab rides home on designated holidays.
Though it might be a gray and cool New Year’s Eve, many revelers will have access to safe, free rides. The free ride vouchers will be valid from 6:00 p.m. on December 31, 2015 until 5:00 a.m. on January 1, 2016. If none of your pals opt to be the DD, BeMyDD.com offers paid services where a personal driver will drive your auto for you.
That’s why, Eddie Farah says, he’s going to provide free taxi service to anyone who needs a ride.
In Colorado Springs people who need a ride can call Yellow Cab at 777-7777 and in Pueblo folks can call City Cab at 543-2525.
The program is a collaboration between the Yarmouth Police Department, Town Taxi and other local businesses. The Jacksonville cab drivers will take the rider where ever he or she wants to go.
