Travelling Jeb Bush would kill ‘baby Hitler’
And the group’s chief strategist has boasted of his willingness to spend as much as $20 million to damage Mr. Rubio’s reputation and halt his sudden ascent in the polls, according to three people told of the claim.
The hypothetical refers to a question asked by The NY Times Magazine that set off the Internet last month. “Baby Hitler is still not very amusing, but is slightly less “not funny” than the adult version”.
It’s a weird question, to be honest. Not to be grim, but “could” is a weird word here. Not even Hitler! Obviously, this is a joke question with a dumb answer that should not be taken seriously, but now actual news hosts are legitimately debating the merits of whether a USA presidential candidate would kill baby Hitler, as you can see in the above clip with CNN’s Erin Burnett.
He quickly added however that despite that possibility, he would still kill Hitler. The media meme involving Baby Hitler was dead. “Of course, Ben Carson wouldn’t kill Hitler himself”.
“I, too, would travel back in time of Baby Hitler – but this is where me and Jeb’s time streams start to diverge”, he said.
As of writing, here are the responses from the candidates.
The Huffington Post asked the former Florida governor to respond to unusual questions he has received via email during his campaign. Well, let’s just say I gave it my best shot! Jeb said enthusiastically before forgetting the name of the film “Back to the Future” and calling the actor Michael Fox. Back to the Future, Jeb. “I just don’t understand why that’s such a complex thing”, he said to applause at the event, which was held in a Coca-Cola bottling facility.
Ben Carson, a staunch abortion foe, said he would not have aborted baby Hitler. The lack of a strong Nazi movement in 1920s Germany could have meant that the Communists would have come to power in Germany, leading to revolutionary conflicts throughout Europe that likely would have led to war.
Carson is not clear on whether he’d support an abortion to protect the life of a mother. “He’s got lots of service to continue to provide, he’ll continue to be a good governor, but we have a plan to win”.
