Trevor Noah has emergency appendectomy, Wednesday’s Daily Show canceled
And while ten of the Republican candidates were in attendance, The Daily Show was banned from gaining access.
According to a statement released by Comedy Central on Wednesday Trevor underwent an emergency appendectomy.
Noah recently completed his first month at the helm of the political comedy show popularized by former anchor Jon Stewart, who hosted the program for 16 years before stepping down in August.
However, as Noah is expected to make a full and quick recovery, Comedy Central said that they expect The Daily Show to return with a new episode on Thursday. But then all that followed were cricket sounds. “As far as I’m concerned, the Iowa GOP can suck its own caucus”.
“Guys, if you wanted a fake, empty Hillary Clinton, you could’ve just used Carly Fiorina”, he quipped. “For proof, he pointed to “‘not president’ Mike Huckabee” and “‘even less president Rick Santorum'”.
