Trio Wanted for Fatal Shooting at Bronx Deli, Police Say
Police are looking for a man accused of breaking into a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country vehicle belonging to a former police officer in the Bronx Tuesday night.
The shooting occurred at about 10:15 a.m.at Trio’s Deli in the University Heights neighborhood, police said. “The customer stormed out of the store, only to return a short time later with a gun, police sources said”.
Responders rushed the man to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
“I heard “bang, bang, bang” three times”, he said”.
Police say the shooting happened after the victim got into a dispute with the suspect and two other men.
It is not immediately clear what sparked the deadly argument, cops said.
Police have also released images of three men who are wanted for questioning, as well as video of a auto connected to the shooting.
