Trivia Time: Super Bowl QBs’ Pop Culture Knowledge Put to the Test
The Denver Broncos will play the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 on Sunday, February 7. Newton was just 10 years old when the Titans faced the Rams in Super Bowl XXXIV, and came up just short.
And for a moment, you think back to that few days in March of 2012 when Manning was released from the Colts and actually had the Cardinals on his short list of teams for which he wanted to play. The list goes on and on.
Newton on Tuesday emphatically tried to lay to rest any relevance of an African-American quarterback appearing in the NFL’s championship game.
The Denver Broncos’ Emmanuel Sanders, left, gained more than 1,100 yards receiving during the season. Role players like former 49ers wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr.
“What a prince of a guy”, said Manning, who reached out to Stabler’s family when he died in July. I had some good years in Atlanta. Philly Brown had no hands.

He said: “At the end of the day, that was Super Bowl 48 two years ago, it’s a different roster”.
The Panthers have been kind to McClain.
Newton is a favorite for the NFL most valuable player award, set to be handed out at the NFL Honors Saturday. But that’s the nature of the game, and it’s not going to change. The veteran quarterback has been quiet about it, saying Monday night, “I don’t know the answer to that question right now”.
Clearly, they have not.
Freshman Corey Patrick, now an undecided major, said he thinks the younger Panthers’ team will be a factor in the game. He threw for 35 touchdowns, second most in the NFL. The Falcons intercepted Peyton Manning three times in the first quarter. Maybe he’s just that special. His career at NU ended 11 games into his senior season due to an injury against Purdue.
“I watch it as a little brother rooting for my big brother to play well”. “I get emotional about it”, he said. He’s a very good quarterback; don’t get me wrong. I like the hard work he’s put in. “So that’s been a big plus”.
