Troops kill Palestinian who tried to stab solders

Palestinians are angry at increasing violence by Israeli settlers at the al-Aqsa Mosque compound and their attacks on Palestinian properties, saying that the Tel Aviv regime seeks to change the status quo of the compound.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry based in Ramallah, Friday’s deadly incidents bring the total number of Palestinians shot dead by Israeli forces since October 1, 2015 to 161, including 29 minors and seven women.

Hundreds more Palestinians have been injured since October past year, when Israeli forces intensified attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
