Trump Blasts ‘Nasty,’ ‘Unfair’ Debate Questions

Though this is all pretty predictable – these guys descend like a plague of locusts on some unlucky convention centre to yell about all this every four years – today’s proceedings have been kicked up a notch with the presence of knotted pile of old cat hair-cum-budding Leader of the Free World Donald Trump.

Real-estate magnate Donald Trump was confronted by Fox News moderator Megyn Kelly during the first Republican presidential debate on Thursday, accusing him of being insensitive toward women.

Kelly’s question about past sexist remarks seemed to particularly irritate Trump.

In one of the more impromptu segments of the debate, several Republicans on stage chimed in to ask Trump for donations after the billionaire defended previously giving to Democrats. They questioned Jeb Bush about three of his biggest perceived liabilities: Common Core, immigration, and the Iraq war.

Staying combative, he told Kelly that “what I say is what I say and honestly, Megyn, if you don’t like it, then I’m sorry”. But they show the role journalists play in highlighting when one or two candidates profess views that are different from the majority of the field – and the pressure those candidates face to bring their positions in line with other Republicans.

Trump said that as a businessman he gave to everyone, including Hillary Clinton, now the Democratic presidential frontrunner, as well as her family’s charity organization. “I think people that like him and people that don’t even like him that much are reacting to that”. “You know why?
