Trump Calls New Hampshire Paper Garbage
A crowded last week of 2015 in New Hampshire and several important early 2016 tests – for Donald Trump, House Speaker Paul Ryan and the “establishment” presidential candidates – in this week’s “Inside Politics” forecast. “If Trump weren’t in the race, I think he’d be Number One, really”.
During the holiday lull “All I could do was tweet!” he said. “Coupons”, Trump said as the crowd laughed. “Well, I’d consider it a favor”.
“My campaign for president is $35,000,000 under budget, I have spent very little (and am in 1st place)”.
Trump also called the Union Leader a shadow of its former self, saying, “the paper is doing terribly, the building is like an empty building”.
McDonald also pointed out that many states allow military personnel and overseas civilians to receive their ballots electronically, printing them and completing them before sending them back online.
“I believe there is probably a more irresponsible newspaper than the one right over there, somewhere in the United States”, Kennedy said during an election-eve visit to Manchester in November 1960.
McQuaid also wrote that Trump was similar to Biff from the Back to the Future series, noting that movie screenwriter Bob Gale even said the character was inspired by Trump. “There’s no question in my mind”, Trump said as he tore into Christie’s gubernatorial record, including the so-called Bridgegate scandal. He says the paper is failing and that the publisher is a loser.
“I said, ‘I can’t play golf”. “He doesn’t get it, we endorse Christie”. And colluding with Christie on this edit?
“It’s a dying paper”, Trump said holding up Monday’s Union-Leader. The crowd enthusiastically obliged, jeering at members of the national and local news media.
Donald Trump has famously insulted Mexicans, Muslims, women, and his many, many presidential campaign rivals.
About halfway through his speech, a protester was removed after yelling “Fascist!” Asked about those comments during an MSNBC interview, McQuaid said that Trump’s response was “long overdue”.
“It cost tremendously in terms of votes for the Republican Party”, Trump said. She just doesn’t like some of the things he says.
Luke Santos began waiting in the bitter cold outside the Pennichuck Middle School in Nashua, N.H., almost seven hours before the Donald Trump rally began Monday night. “I don’t think the polls accurately reflect what’s going on”. “He said, ‘How about lunch?’ Just recently we had lunch at his country club where he showed me around to everybody, to people that were friends of his”.
