“When I hear folks say well maybe we should just admit Christians but not Muslims, when I hear political leaders suggesting religious test for which person who’s fleeing from a war-torn country is admitted … that’s not who we are”.
“We need someone sharp, someone tough, someone smart, who can figure it out fast”, the business mogul told the crowd of about 10,000.
Three Worcester police officers walked the protester from the area close to the podium and past the press area. One being a man who continued to shout “Trump’s a racist” before being removed from the event, and another included a group standing up with a sign that read “Migrant Lives Matter”.
“I’m going to do great with the Muslims”, said Trump. ‘They understand what I’m saying… ‘I don’t even know if he wants to solve the problem, frankly’. “I do not want to waste a lot of time on him ’cause it is over”.
