Trump doesn’t correct man who says Obama is Muslim
Fresh off the heels of the Republican debate the night before, Donald Trump held a campaign rally in New Hampshire on Thursday night. “It’s called Muslims”, an unidentified man who spoke at a question-and-answer town hall event in Rochester, New Hampshire asked the mogul. The first question he took was a powderkeg.
That explains why he sometimes sounds more like a character in “Sh*t My Dad Says” than a polished pol seeking to represent a diverse and vibrant country. “The media want to make this an issue about Obama, but it’s about him waging a war on Christianity”.
Trump responded by steering clear of the question entirely and giving a vague catch-all statement before quickly calling for another question. He said that he would be looking into the issue and plenty of other things. Our current President is one. Another supported doubled down on the previous statement, saying, “I applaud the gentleman who stood and said Obama is a Muslim born overseas “. Trump stated, laughing. “But anyway”, the human being continued, “we have training camps growing where they want to kill us”.
President Obama released a copy of his birth certificate in 2011 effectively disproving Trump’s claim.
Trump’s town hall, in a sweaty auditorium in Rochester, was also interrupted several times by a protester, whose interruptions were met by hostility from the friendly crowd. And you know, a lot of people are saying that, and a lot of people are saying that bad things are happening out there. But Obama has insisted that he was born in Hawaii and that he is a Christian. “Obama is a decent person and a person you don’t have to be scared of as president of the United States”.
“I have to tell you. Sen”.
