But I also think that while Mr. Trump resonates with a lot of people with his bluntness, including me to a degree, there are just real lines of decency a person running for President should not trust.

Mr. Trump touted “hundreds of thousands” of people on Twitter who blasted Ms. Kelly during the debate.

Taken collectively, the candidates handled Trump the right way: raising questions about him (Fiorina), expressing respect for voters who have been interested in him (Kasich), and generally letting him sink of his own weight (the rest of them).
But many of Trump’s supporters are now lashing out against Fox – some are even calling for a boycott – and accusing the network of biased coverage. Trump was trying to move beyond the question [in the CNN interview] by getting away from talking about her eyes or whatever.’ I said, ‘That wasn’t how it was on the tape.’ I didn’t accept that he misspoke, based on the context of the video. “I might not, to be honest”, he said.

But Perry campaigned as if one of the party’s top-tier candidates, declaring that his 14 years as governor in Texas prove he’s worthy of a promotion.
In the hour after the debate, Fox News featured Luntz’s focus group, as well as commentary from hosts and guests who described Trump’s performance as a “collapse”.
She also called Hillary Clinton untrustworthy and unaccomplished.
“They live by the creed if we can’t beat ’em, we cheat ’em”, she said.
When Kelly said Trump’s comments had gone beyond O’Donnell and asked about his use of such insults on Twitter, Trump replied that he didn’t “have time for total political correctness”. “Do we want to win?”
