Trump falls, Fiorina rises in post-debate poll
A new CNN/ORC poll released over the weekend shows her surging from near the bottom of the pack to second place behind Donald Trump.
The conventional wisdom seems to be that Carly Fiorina won herself a big patch of political territory in Wednesday night’s marathon 11-candidate debate on CNN.
Former neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson, who had seen a rise in his standings following the first debate, dropped in the new poll to 3rd place with 14 percent support.
Rounding out the top four candidates, those with double-digit support, is Florida Sen. His campaign probably isn’t going anywhere, but after Wednesday it still has a pulse.Marco Rubio was stridently, alarmingly hawkish.
The fact that Fiorina can go toe-to-toe with world leaders and Congress is, at best, hard to dispute. “I haven’t seen it. We’re in uncharted territory”. Her surge may be due to her impassioned speech about the inhumanity of Planned Parenthood and the inner strength she has revealed speaking about the loss of her daughter to drugs and her own battle with breast cancer.

So here are the questions that need to be asked of Fiorina.
“The Center for Medical Progress says the source of the footage is the Grantham Collection, an organization that hopes to stem abortion by promoting graphic images of the procedure”.
“I think she’s got a good line of pitter-patter, but when you listen to her for more than five minutes, you develop a tremendous headache”, Trump told the trio of hosts. But, it can only legally receive minimal money for costs associated with the collection, storage and transport of the materials. U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont has a 14-point lead over Trump.
Trump previously slammed Fiorina over her looks in a Rolling Stone magazine interview earlier this month. Fiorina suggested the comment was rooted in sexism.
