Trump finally endorses House Speaker Paul Ryan
Ryan has pointedly criticized Trump’s call for a ban on Muslim migration to the U.S., and said that the Republican nominee’s attack on a federal judge was “the textbook definition of a racist comment”.
Donald Trump’s and Paul Ryan’s endorsements of each other were pretty similar.
And weeks earlier, Trump bashed popular Wisconsin GOP Gov. Scott Walker, a Cruz supporter, arguing Walker’s record on jobs and the economy was overrated.
But now, Trump is reading pre-written notes on how much he likes and respects Ryan, McCain and Ayotte.
“He’s a good man, and he’s a good guy”, Trump said.
“But I’m not going to go down the road of litigating past Trump comments”, said Ryan.
Mr Trump called his Democratic opponent “a risky liar”, “an unbalanced person”, “pretty close to unhinged”, “totally unfit to lead” and lacking “the judgment, temperament and moral character to lead the country”.
Clinton had repeatedly said she never sent emails containing classified material, a finding that Comey contradicted at the conclusion of the FBI’s probe in July, when he rebuked her for “extremely careless” handling of classified information while recommending that no charges be filed.
Speaking of Reagan, remember when his former spokesperson and speechwriter said: “I knew Ronald Reagan; I worked for Ronald Reagan”.
She also acknowledged many people don’t trust her. “And we may disagree on a couple of things, but mostly we agree, and we’re going to get it done and we’re going to do a lot of wonderful things”, he added.
Trump continued with his full-throttle attack on Clinton. “I also fully support and endorse Sen”.
As Mr Trump sought to right the ship, and with fellow Republicans urging him to swiftly get back on message, he trained his fire on Mrs Clinton.
Nehlen said Trump’s decision “is appropriate and is a display of true leadership”.

Capping the lousy week, Mr Trump admitted Friday that he wrongly claimed to have seen secret Iranian footage of US$400 million in hard currency being delivered to Tehran as payment for the release of United States prisoners.
The announcement of his advisers comes ahead of a speech tomorrow to the Detroit Economic Club that could help Mr Trump refocus his campaign after a string of feuds and missteps was capped on Thursday by post-convention polls showing him trailing Mrs Hillary Clinton.
In the end, though, it looks like a GOP nominee who often says things he might regret had come to regret these comments.
