Trump Hits W: ‘The World Trade Center Came Down During His Reign’
This current war of words with Jeb Bush is the current topic of discussion but there will be more things to discuss at the next GOP Debate.
What do two (ostensibly) serious candidates for President of the United States do when they butt heads on one of the most significant and sobering moments in American history to date?
So Rubio has $9.7 cash on hand in primary dollars vs. Bush’s $10 million.
Donald Trump and Jeb Bush were at it again.
Apparently not wanting to risk Jeb (or more importantly, his rapt followers) missing the point, Trump chose to rephrase slightly and go for round two. And several hours later Bush marveled at the same prosthetics company where Rubio once walked the halls.
“He remains a good friend”, Rubio told reporters last week. But his campaign spent $14.2 million, most of it on fundraising costs, such as fees for postage, phone calls, and consultants. But Rubio pushed forward and is trying to seize an electorate hungry for a new face and ideas.
A few Bush backers are wondering where his mojo is. “But they also know we can’t have that infighting”.
When asked if he would respond to Trump’s comments, a spokesman for Bush said: “Thanks for checking, but definitely not”.
That’s more than twice what any other Republican outside group had amassed by June 30, according to the most recent fundraising reports available for super PACs.
“Together, we have begun to build an organization that we are confident will deliver the Republican nomination and win the White House”, Bush’s campaign manager Danny Diaz wrote in a memo to supporters on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Rubio deputy campaign manager Rich Beeson hit the Bush campaign for spending on private planes. He posted a photo on Instagram with the caption: “Flying commercial to Pittsburgh late tonight to save money”. Each has won statewide election – Bush twice, Rubio once – in Florida, a hefty prize in the presidential election. Rubio could take all of Bush’s voters and then add all of Rand Paul, Chris Christie, John Kasich, Lindsey Graham, Rick Santorum, Bobby Jindal, George Pataki, and Jim Gilmore’s voters and he would still be trailing Trump. “But they’re both dominating all of the traditional candidates”.
Jeb Bush was expected to be a Republican 2016 presidential juggernaut – the establishment candidate with big money, well-oiled machinery, political pedigree and executive experience as Florida governor. “He’s the one guy I rely on the ebbing and flowing of politics because it’s pretty wild and he’s done it”, he said.
“The Democratic Party today is more liberal today than it has been since Michael Dukakis”, Rubio said to about 150 people at the town hall meeting.
