Trump is an IQ test for GOP voters — Mercury News editorial

CNN:Trump has been booked for a 7 a.m. Tuesday interview on “Fox & Friends“, co-host Steve Doocy said on Twitter on Monday afternoon.

The key point to understand about the debate is that you don’t complain about the moderators unless you think you lost.

Trump didn’t like Kelly’s questions and issued what sounded like a threat by saying he had been nice to her so far but he probably may not be – which indeed led him to tweet later, calling Kelly a “bimbo”, “hostile and unprofessional”, and “astonishingly biased”. Like Trump and the Bush family, Clinton is a divisive figure in the US and is seen by many as cold, calculating and untrustworthy. “Still functioning. Who knew?” another wrote.

Frustration over government gridlock is clearly front and center. Working within the political system is not only the constitutional path to follow; it’s the only way conservatives have to hinder the liberal project.

Anger seems to be the lingua franca of American politics these days.

It wasn’t a bomb blast – like former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who hit Trump for his deferments from serving in Vietnam and challenged him to a pull-up contest.

Meanwhile, plenty of other women are pointing out that telling someone they must be on their period is not an insult.

As the new data emerged, Trump doubled down on his assertion that he would not rule out a third-party candidacy – a nightmare scenario for Republicans.

Some 55 percent thought his references to immigrants as rapists and criminals was “insulting and racist”.

The comments by the Republican presidential candidate sparked fury across social media, with many taking the opportunity to educate the politician.

Trump said in the Republican debate on Thursday night that Clinton only attended his wedding because he donated to her campaign. Now they get two for 2016, but pundits don’t like Trump’s business background very much.

So let’s make something clear. That’s the reason many voters like both. But so should Trump.

“Since he has changed his mind on amnesty, on health care and on abortion, I’d just ask, ‘What are the principles by which he would govern?'” Fiorina said. The establishment’s favored candidates are too shaky and insipid to excite rank-and-file Republicans, leaving a large hole that Trump’s decisive and unapologetic personality has filled. But Trump’s campaign has prodded other candidates to expand on how they can overcome it.

To add fuel to the fire, Trump is refusing to apologise for the remark, as he feels he has done nothing wrong.
