Trump leads, Cruz climbs in New Hampshire

There’s a silver lining in today’s poll out of New Hampshire poll for Ted Cruz. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) with 16%, Sen.
A new wrinkle in their research triggered the effort to defeat Cruz in Iowa.
The Quinnipiac poll found New Yorkers have big hearts: 93% are very or somewhat sympathetic to homeless adults; 92% are very sympathetic to homeless children; and 84% are very sympathetic to homeless veterans.
In its opening skit, Saturday Night Live also suggested Cruz had been blowing an anti-Semitic dog whistle. Former GOP nominee Bob Dole says Republicans would face “cataclysmic” and “wholesale losses” if Cruz won the nomination.
Carly Fiorina sits at 4 percent. “Sometimes someone is doing really well in the polls and then they do poorly in Iowa and New Hampshire and then everything just falls apart for them”, said Tom Jensen, Public Policy Polling.
“I don’t think that Donald Trump can beat Hillary Clinton”, Bush said, echoing the nightmarish ad his campaign released Wednesday, which posits a future where a nominated Trump loses virtually every state to Clinton in the general election.
Trump’s newly minted supporter, former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate Sara Palin, did not speak at Wednesday’s event, despite campaign promotions saying Trump’s “special guest” would be there.
“The Washington establishment knows who’s willing to keep the gravy train going”, he said. “He won’t make deals with the Democrats.’ Well, I don’t think there are a lot of Republicans who think the problem with Republican leadership is that they won’t make deals with the Democrats”.
Of course, Cruz’s assertion had nothing to do with 9/11, and Trump’s response – invoking that Islamist attack and all its death and destruction – is both typical and disgraceful.
Cruz was the most frequent second choice among Republican voters. If any state should be high on Rubio because they know him well, it’s Florida. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio has 11%, and all other candidates are in single digits. “Look, Donald Trump was very candid”.
