Trump plans ‘major news conference,’ but will he take questions?

Clinton is under pressure to participate from her supporters, some of whom have struggled to accept the election results given her lead in the popular vote, which has grown to more than 2.3 million in the weeks after the November 8 election. Now, political scientists, including the ones at the University of Wisconsin, are examining just how Trump won. While Sanders lost the primary, he has not given up the fight.
National Democrats may not have a choice.
But that wasn’t the first promise the GOP candidate broke within a week of being elected. But something went very wrong for Democrats on election night.
There seemed to be more novelty seen in the imagination of Bernie Sanders who called for an egalitarian America, at the cost of being labeled as a socialist. AMY GOODMAN: And talk about what you went through. ‘That has gotten me very quickly into a rebuilding mode. And it was downhill from there.
“I think the American people agree with him that burning the flag is wrong”, said former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, who was sacked in June.
As Sherrod Brown, a Democratic senator from OH who faces reelection in 2018, wrote following the election, those workers “know they toil harder and are paid less than their parents, and have less power to control the hours they work and their share of the wealth they create for their employer”.
AMY GOODMAN: This also catapults you into the position of the most powerful, non-Democratic Democrat in the country.
There is similar room for Democrats to move toward the center on immigration policy and likewise on crime and terrorism.
Ryan said he didn’t know exactly which executive actions would be revoked, but the Trump administration and Republicans might eliminate ones that won’t cause a massive public uproar. It’s not my intention to be beating up on them. The unpopularity of the two major candidates, the lack of well-functioning presidential campaigns here, no governor’s race on the ballot, no exciting ballot propositions. Republicans now control 33 governorships, the highest number since 1922.
Republicans’ version worked because it pulled toward the right and America remains a center-right country. And in the last eight or so years, Democrats have lost some 900 legislative seats in state capitols all over this country. His handling of questions about how he’ll divorce the presidency from his business dealings seem to say yes.
“We need to keep our eyes open”. How on earth can we not allow Mike Suarez, State President of the Democratic Municipal Officers, Harry Cohen, Yolie Capin or Bob Buckhorn? We can elect a progressive DNC chair who prioritizes organizing over fundraising. It was the first time in 44 years of voting that I voted for a Democrat. There are also Republicans who I’ve known.
“Today we made history, and now the real work begins”. So I’m strongly supporting Keith, and I’ll do everything I can to [inaudible].
“One of the principles that we believe in and adhere to, as does the president-elect, is that we have one president at a time”, he said.
He won the Rust Belt because he resonated with white, rural working class Americans, the type of America I, like many students at UW, come from. But your point can not be denied.
“I don’t want to hurt them”.

“You showed empty podiums”, shouted Todd Harris, who worked on Florida Sen. ‘My message to anyone reading this is, “Don’t call me, I’ll call you”.
Trump’s thank you tour is a way for him to stay in front of the American people.
Donald Trump’s skeptics hope the presidency will reveal a serious side of the brash businessman. Hillary Clinton was their consensus candidate because they had few from whom to choose. Yet, Hillary Clinton’s campaign, the Democratic Party establishment, neoliberals and their mouthpieces in the corporate media are desperate to place blame on everything and everyone but themselves. “We respect and cherish these values too, and we must defend them”.
We need to ask: What do you think about this?
One reason for the unrest is that Trump’s political stances have been hard to pin down. They confirm just how divided the American people are.
