“Look, Ted Cruz is a total liar”.

In Muscatine that morning, Wilton dentist Keith Stanley said he had walked into the town hall favoring Trump, but was leaving so impressed by Rubio that he might switch his vote.
He said that Sanders would be pleased to debate Clinton in Flint, Michigan, before the Michigan primary as long as Clinton will agree to one in Brooklyn, New York, on April 14.
MUSCATINE, Iowa (AP) – Ted Cruz needs you to trust him.
Sanders told the crowd that his is a “unique campaign”, set on uniting Americans, not dividing them like the “Donald Trumps” of the world.
Frequently amusing and even charismatic on the stump, Mr Rubio has thus emerged as a signal problem for Mr Cruz, who has dedicated far more of his time and resources to campaigning in the state.
The GOP race is still very fluid with 45 percent saying they are persuadable.
Its customers are among the most engaged and well informed voters in America. One ad said darkly of Rubio: “Tax hikes”.
“And because it has worked for me, I’ve not been tempted to go and try other methods”.
Cruz is betting his 2016 campaign he can win the trust argument.
Anthony Bennett covers politics for Heavy, and writes for USA and worldwide audiences in a variety of media and subject areas. “We are exhausted of being burned”.
“They’re looking for a consistent conservative”. Clinton’s campaign takes a highly localized approach to Iowa, I learned on a visit to her Davenport field office earlier this month, with volunteers responsible for contacting a parcel of voters in a particular neighborhood again and again until the caucuses. Chris Christie calls him a flip-flopper. In the past, this poll has been a fairly accurate predictor of caucus results. That’s in sharp contrast with his public promises to fight the Supreme Court’s decision. “They don’t trust Hillary”.
There are some points working against Cruz in the numbers.
With Sanders hoping to pull off a narrow victory Monday in the Hawkeye State, getting these students out to caucus for him could be a make it or break it moment.
“In my view, we will win on Monday night if – here’s the big if – if there’s a large voter turnout”, he said.
His competitors regularly attack Cruz’s evolutions on foreign policy, ethanol subsidies and immigration in particular. Cruz’s campaign suggests he wasn’t being honest when he said in 2013 that he supported an amendment that would have granted legal status to such immigrants.
How Iowa will vote, however, is notoriously hard to predict since it is never quite certain how many people will show up to caucus.
After Iowa, voters in New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada will choose between each party’s candidates over the month of February to pick up three percent of Democratic delegates and 5 percent of the Republican delegates.
Underscoring the backing he’s one from prominent conservatives, Cruz was introduced Saturday by radio host Glenn Beck, U.S. Rep. Steve King of Iowa and Bob Vander Plaats, the chief executive officer of Iowa’s influential Family Leader.
