Trump rallies get rough
The tweet is another addition to Trump’s collection of rhetoric that has stirred up accusations of racism and xenophobia, starting with his comments about Mexicans when he kicked off his campaign to his recent comments over tagging Muslims and placing them in a database, and over a Black Lives protester who was beaten up at one his rallies. Rally attendees then started shouting back, according to Southall. “I’m saying white, black, green, yellow, a guy comes to your event and gets beat up, you should be against the people that beat him up”. He was kicked in the stomach, and the chest, both men and women.
“I got punched in the face, I got punched in the neck”. They called me ni**er, monkey, and they shouted “All lives matter” while they were kicking and punching me.
A scuffle ensued and Southall was soon on the ground.
Southall described his injuries as extensive and even described being choked on the ground during the altercation. “He goes to these various different rallies and he creates all sorts of problems”, said Cohen, the executive vice president of the Trump Foundation. In October, while being repeatedly interrupted by protesters, Trump told the crowd See the first group, I was nice.
“Maybe he should have been roughed up, because it was absolutely disgusting what he was doing”, Trump said in a Fox News interview on Sunday. Meanwhile in a Facebook message, his father asked me for some time before speaking about yesterday’s events. I don’t know. Rough up?
“He was so obnoxious and so loud. And this guy started screaming by himself”.
In a page-1 story, the WS-J reported that anti-Trump efforts are being spearheaded by a one-time Republican National Party online communications director who worked briefly for Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s failed bid for the GOP nomination. He has been an agitator from day one. “I mean, this man came to our city a couple of weeks before Christmas, saying we should not let in Middle Eastern refugees”.
In the past, Southall told AL.com that he does not try to get arrested, but added, “What can black people do without getting persecuted or killed?” One of the protesters and her attorney tell WIAT 42 News that they want to press charges. It’s 50 years past the civil rights movement and in Birmingham, Alabama, just a couple of blocks away from the Civil Rights Institute, I was lynched in broad daylight in the presence of police officers. He also said they did not offer medical attention.
