Trump running mate Mike Pence adds another Pennsylvania campaign stop
Mike Pence is in the battleground state of Pennsylvania telling voters that a Trump Administration would be good for the economy.
Pence added, “The man that is running this campaign is now and always has been Donald Trump”. He praised the business and called it the future of the state.
“The road to the White House goes straight through Pennsylvania”, Pence told the crowd, drawing cheers.
But the GOP chairman said what is clear is that ultimately, the person in charge of Donald Trump’s campaign is Donald Trump. Trump would “do it in a humane way”, Pence said. “Trump’s continued divisive and hateful rhetoric proves the Trump-Pence ticket can not be allowed to lead our country”. John McCain, who visited the company headquarters in 2008.
“History teaches us that weakness arouses evil”, he said. Recent polls have shown Trump down several points to Clinton both nationally and in North Carolina. Public polls showing an 8 to 10 percent nod in Clinton’s direction. An NBC/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll dated August 7 also has Clinton leading by 11 points, 48 to 37 percent, and Qunnipiac’s August 7 results have her up 10 points, 52 to 42 percent.
At 1:30pm, Pence – who is also Indiana’s governor – will speak at a private event hosted by Tech Tube, Inc., in King of Prussia.
“The media has been biased”, she said.
Reince Priebus said, “Donald Trump’s been disciplined and mature, and I think and he’s going to get this thing back on track”. Trump and Mike Pence just seem to get it.
