Trump’s stamina attack on Clinton stirs talk of gender bias
Hillary Clinton on Monday night laughed off Donald Trump’s attempts to raise questions about her health.
“It absolutely makes no sense”, she said.
“We heard this from Donald Trump, who’s running for president; he’s the Republican nominee.’ So, I think it’s insane, but I think it’s also harmful”, Clinton continued. “You know, answer questions about am I alive, how much longer will I be alive”, she said.
Kimmel also wondered how she can prepare for the unorthodox style of Trump when they meet one another for debates.
“I’m planning on drawing off my experiences from elementary school”, she said on late-night talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live”. “We’ve already released 30,000-plus”. “My emails are so boring”.
Clinton said he would stop fundraising for the foundation and step down from its board, effectively removing himself from the nonprofit’s chain of command.
Kimmel opened up the discussion by asking Clinton, 68, about the rumors most recently raised by Rudy Giuliani, a close adviser to the 70-year-old Republican nominee; “Are you in good health?” he asked.
Clinton was clearly uncomfortable (so was everyone, really) and tried to pivot to a hokey campaign line (Wouldn’t you rather have a “you’re hired” president than a “you’re fired” president?) before pulling out one more quote. The State Department has refused to make further investigation of Clinton’s email predicament.
“I want to take it seriously”, Clinton said.
Finally, Clinton rolled out an expanded version of a previous excuse: Her predecessor Colin Powell used private email and told her it was fine.
In a two-way matchup, Clinton leads by 19 points, with 55% support compared to Trump’s 36%.
He insisted foundation donors got favors from Clinton’s state department and called for a special prosecutor. “I mean, I’d look at her right in that fat, ugly face of hers and say, ‘Rosie, you’re fired'”.
