Trump spreads claim that Clinton’s ‘mentor’ was ‘KKK member’
A poll released Sunday shows the two candidates are just a few percentage points apart.
Through polling as of Saturday, Clinton is ahead by slightly more than 3 points, 49.91 percent to 46.90, with 3.19 percent of the respondents choosing “others”.
According to the Saturday report, the poll conducted by Jim Gerstein further shows that Jewish support in the southeastern USA state for the Republican nominee Donald Trump stands at only 23 percent, mocking the Republican Party’s persisting “outreach” efforts to Jewish Americans – which represent a mere 2-percent of overall voters across the U.S. – to win their vote through “hawkish support” for the Israeli regime. As of this writing, Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight polls-only forecast has Clinton up in every state mentioned with at least a 62% chance of winning that state.
She has held in all national opinion polls since the conventions, and now has a 6-point advantage over Trump in the Real Clear Politics average.
The third-party nominees now do not have the 15 percent support from voters required to attend the first debate in September. Chuck Grassley and Rep. Steve King – in a rare show of establishment support for a candidate who has struggled to unite his party.
“This is truly extraordinary”, Murray said. “And that includes going where the voters are and taking the case directly to them in their churches”, she said.

Some Republicans, including pollster Whit Ayres, have said Trump’s outreach to African-American voters has more to do with bolstering his image among white voters who are uncomfortable with his campaign. Just 24 percent believed Trump’s explanation that he can not release his returns because he is being audited.
Donald Trump is praising the decision of Hillary Clinton’s top aide to separate from husband Anthony Weiner. Meanwhile, 62 percent said it was important that candidates release their returns. But it’s important to note that the margin of error is plus or minus 2 percentage points – so the change might not actually be that significant. Johnson holds 8 percent of surveyed voters’ support, and Stein has snagged 3 percent of their support.
