Trump was addressing a rally crowd in Burlington, Vermont, as President Barack Obama was speaking at a televised town hall on gun violence in America.
Trump’s campaign gave away almost 20,000 free tickets to the rally, many of which were snapped up by Sanders supporters, Trump haters or others who wanted him to have an empty theater.
Some who endured security told NBC News they were inquired as to whether they were Trump supporters. The local police chief told the Free Press they had no choice, because, “They [Trump] have the right to say who’s trespassing in violation of their lease agreement, so when people are asked to leave, police escort them out”. They both thanked the city’s police officers for fostering an environment that allowed for First Amendment expression and del Pozo said Burlington should serve as an example for other campaign stops. “And he knows how to run a business”, said Jim Billado, who owns a commercial roofing business.
In interviews, Sanders has said that he believes Trump is appealing to the “fears and anxieties” of the American people and he has gone out of his way at times to validate Trump supporters by saying that people have a right to be scared based on the state of the economy and wages.
Trump defended the decision, describing it a matter of loyalty.
“We have more than 20,000 people that showed up for 1,400 spots”, Trump said.
If elected he wants veterans to be better taken care of and beef up control over the USA border.
Interestingly, some conservatives oppose this, because they think it will centralize power too much with the Senate leadership, i.e. Mitch McConnell. He also was viewing the world through a black-and-white lens, and he kicked out and hushed the protestors who interrupted his event. They came up screaming at him and he retreated…
Billionaire businessman Donald Trump vowed Thursday that as president he would end “gun-free” zones his first day in office. After going through most of his stump speech, he tested the crowd’s sympathies.
Later, he suggested that security staffers confiscate protesters’ coats. “No coats! Confiscate their coats. You can keep his coat; tell him we’ll send it to him in a couple of weeks”.

But as the disruptions continued, Trump’s patience appeared to wear thin. It’s not just the demagoguery that he expresses in trying to divide us up – telling us that Latinos that are coming into this country from Mexico are rapists, criminals, and drug dealers. “They’re afraid to lose their jobs”.
“Get ’em out”, Trump said after the second interruption.
“Bernie has grown up here as a politician, I think Trump is here to kind of undermine Bernie, but I am hoping that we will stay strong as a state, and support Bernie all the way”, she said. “I don’t know, I don’t mind the protesters and to me, you throw ’em out, you throw ’em out”, she said.
