Trump to host New Hampshire rally ahead of Iowa caucus

Rick Santorum, who took part in the undercard debate, also took the liberty of criticizing the network for downplaying coverage of his campaign, being too obsessed with Trump and ignoring substantive issues. “Ted Cruz is an anchor baby in Canada”, Trump said today at his event in Nashua, N.H., according to the Dallas Morning News.

Mr Cruz accused Mr Rubio of making a “politically advantageous” decision to support a 2013 Senate bill that included a pathway to citizenship, while the Florida senator said his rival was “willing to say or do anything to get votes”. For months, that spotlight has been on Trump, leaving his rivals angling to post a strong second or third place showing.

But after the news organization put out a snarky press release mocking Trump over his attempts to remove her as moderator, Trump showed the deftness that belies his novice status in politics – and which has consistently put him one step ahead of the competition. Rubio has since reversed his stance and has said that he opposes amnesty. There’s been a half dozen of them in the run up to next week’s caucuses in Iowa.
Ted Cruz was the most searched “other” Republican.
“When you’re not treated properly you have to stick up for your rights, and if I’m your leader we’re going to stick up for the rights of the country”, Trump said.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio claimed the top tweeted moment of the debate when he joked that Democratic presidential candidate Sen. It also pulled in 3.5 million viewers in the advertiser-friendly demo of adults aged 25-54, according to Early Nielsen Research. The main debate drew 12.5 million viewers.
Republican Donald Trump is continuing his unconventional campaign by traveling to New Hampshire as his rivals scramble to make closing arguments in the days before the Iowa caucuses.
