Trump touts his own achievements, and the United Nations laughs

Laughter went around the delegates in NY, much to Mr Trump’s surprise.
Moon said Kim had told him the “corresponding measures” he was seeking were security guarantees Trump pledged in Singapore and moves toward normalization of relations with Washington. A year ago, Trump used his first United Nations speech to harangue North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, warning he was on a “suicide march” if he failed to comply.

Those comments came only hours after Trump on Twitter said he was sure Iran’s president, Hassan Rouhani, is a “lovely man”, comments that perplexed some given Rouhani’s reputation as a brutal leader.
