Trump welcomes a senator, bashes Beck’s support of Cruz
Washington, Jan 25 A turbaned Sikh man was forced out of Donald Trump’s rally in the USA state of Iowa after he interrupted the Republican presidential frontrunner’s speech by displaying a banner that read “Stop Hate”.The man, wearing in bright red turban, started his peaceful protest impromptu, when Trump was addressing an impressive campaign rally yesterday with his signature anti-Muslim speech.
The latest opinion poll, conducted by CNN among likely Republican voters, shows Trump with 37 percent support to 26 percent for Cruz. Marco Rubio. “He doesn’t get to pretend it’s not amnesty when he’s making 12 million people here illegally into 12 million USA citizens”. Donald Trump, who is running slightly ahead of Cruz in most Iowa polls, will also campaign in Iowa Saturday.
Cruz himself only recently backed deportations, having long tried to keep the door open to a path for legal status until a few months ago. “It’s time to give up”, Trump said, noting that he only mentioned Bush because of the negative ads.
But Trump now calls his chief rival “a nasty guy” and a hypocrite for slamming NY values while taking money from donors in the Big Apple. “He is so against ethanol, you can forget it”, Trump said, referencing Cruz’s position in favor of phasing out the mandated ethanol fuel levels in gasoline, which are a boon to Iowa’s economy.
“Ted Cruz is trying to prove that you can win with them alone”.
Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani told The Washington Post that he preferred Trump to Cruz.
Trump will campaign later Sunday in Muscatine, and with just over a week to go until the Iowa Caucus, the real estate mogul will return to the Hawkeye state again on Tuesday.
