Tuesday forecast: Cloudy and warm, showers likely
THURSDAY: It’s much cooler and drying out with a mix of sun and clouds and a high of 56. Rain and storms will likely move into the area after 9pm and continue overnight.
Tuesday: Rain developing, moderate to heavy at times. That chance will continue to rise to around 80 percent during the day on Wednesday.
We are not expecting any big issues for the morning drive. The weather will clear out on Friday as cooler air moves in.
Temperatures dropping from the low 50s in the upper 40s.
Thursday night: Partly cloudy with lows in the mid-30s. Temps will hold in the upper 40’s and a light SSE wind at 4-8 miles per hour should cause no problems. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
Mostly cloudy, windy, and mild with a 70% chance for showers and thunderstorms.some could be severe. For many in our area, this is the first significant rainfall in over two months.
Another batch of heavy rain is possible Wednesday night. Northwest wind around 5 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Totals look to add up to 1 inch for the metro and midlands, with 1-2 inches for the high country and foothills.
Wednesday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Wind: NW 10-15. Low: 32. Winds could gust as high as 25 miles per hour.
Because we are in the throws of a bad drought, I’m taking a cautious approach as it relates to the percentage chance for rain midweek. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68.
