Turkish President Erdogan to arrive in Islamabad tomorrow

The leaders have agreed that the two sides should keep in mind the general direction of the bilateral relationship, strengthen political trust and link their development strategies.
The topic was high on the agenda during Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan’s visit in China as it was expected to bring Turkey advantages as well.
Addressing the forum, Xi said China and Turkey made great contributions to exchanges and prosperity of human civilization as they stood at either end of the ancient Silk Road. Turkish president has visited Pakistan seven times.
“Most importantly, there is eagerness on both sides to translate our historic and cordial relations into a durable strategic and economic partnership”, the statement mentioned.
It said Pakistan’s relations with Turkey had seen tremendous improvement and dynamism in the last few years.
Erdogan said Turkey is willing to make joint efforts with China to boost cooperation on trade, investment, technology, industry and infrastructure.
