Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, Seeds of Evil remasters in the works for PC
The release of the new Jurassic movie will likely help boost the dinosaur-centric game, though whether it will see the same level of success as the original is yet to be seen. Though Quake gathered most of the gaming media’s attention, Iguana’s video game adaption of the famous Dark Horse Comics (Or West Publishing, if you want to go all the way back to the 1950’s) native American hero gained a fanatical cult following that hasn’t let up even to this day.
On the Turok front, they plan to bring both it and its sequel, Seeds of Evil, to all your favourite distribution platforms in the near future.
Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil are going to be re-released digitally on PC.
These games, which were originally developed in 1997 for PC and 199 for Nintendo 64, will be remastered with enhanced graphics and other improvements to fit with today’s modern computers. “To that point, no game had ever offered the combination of graphics and an open world environment that Turok featured”, said Night Dive CEO Stephen Kick.
