Actress Laurie Metcalf will reprise her role of Sheldon’s mother during the Season 9 premiere, while Keith Carradine will be featured as Penny’s father in Season 9’s third episode.
Cheer up, and check out what the actors who play awkward science nerds onThe Big Bang Theory are taking home in pay: Millions. “All the dreams came true for me”, she said.
While fans are being teased about Leonard and Penny’s possible wedding, there is still this undeniable fear that things will turn out negatively between the two, specially since Leonard has confessed to kissing another woman while they were still in a relationship. Amy, portrayed by Mayim Bialik, told Sheldon that she wanted to “step back and re-evaluate”. In season 9 as well, the fans will see the huge impact of Sheldon on Amy’s life.
The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons has topped US financial publication Forbes’ list of the highest-paid male television actors with estimated earnings of $29m in the year to June 2015. Then, tied in third-place-for-bounteous-wealth were Simon Helberg (who plays Howard Joel Wolowitz, the nut-allergic polylinguist and somewhat insufferable aerospace engineer on The Big Bang Theory), The Big Bang Theory’s Kunal Nayyar (Raj Koothrappali, the “metrosexual” one), and NCIS’ Mark Harmon, with $20 million.
They’re making $1 million an episode for the next three seasons or a total of $72 million apiece.
The Big Bang Theory stars dominate the list after restructuring contracts before the 2014-2015 season. Meanwhile, Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting) make it to Las Vegas, but that doesn’t mean their fight is over.
