TVS Apache RTR 200 4V launched at INR 88990 – IAB Report
The TVS Victor, which was launched about 15 years ago, is being relaunched by the company. The upcoming Apache RTR in matte blue edition was also showcased in the showroom. The new Apache RTR 200 4V is being made available in two versions – Carburetor and fuel injection priced at Rs.88,900 and Rs 1.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.
The RTR 200 4V is powered by a single-cylinder, 197.75cc air and oil cooled engine capable of producing 20.23 bhp of power.
It’s going to generate maximum power of 20.23bhp at 8,500rpm, and a peak torque of 18Nm at 7,000rpm.
With a kerb weight of 148kg and a claimed 0-60kmph acceleration time of a mere 3.9 seconds, the RTR 200 appears to be a seriously quick motorcycle in its segment. Though, it shares some of its design bits with the RTR 160 and RTR 180. The new 200cc bike will sport Perelli or MRF tyres, all-digital instrument cluster, LED tail lamps and split seats. The soon to be launched TVS Apache RTR 200 4V sits on multi-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in TVS tyres, 90/90/R17 up front and 130/70/R17 at the rear. Other noteworthy features include sporty black finish on the engine, larger petal disc brakes at the front & rear, mobile-charging point, upward riding stance and offset monoshock suspension system. Braking power comes from a 270 mm petal disc up front and a 240 mm petal disc at the rear with dual-channel ABS. The TVS Apache RTR can easily touch-down a 100kmph in just 3.9seconds to reach out for the top speed of 130kmph.
