Twin blasts in crowded Guwahati shopping area injures 3
Guwahati: Two consecutive bomb blasts ripped through Guwahati’s commercial hub Fancy Bazaar area on Saturday. When a rag picker was attempting to play with it, it was some firecrackers that went off unintentionally. The area was cordoned off by the police, after which forensic experts were called in. However, a few people are injured and admitted in the near by hospital. “These five people, who were near the rag picker got soft injuries and scorched injuries.”.
Twin bomb blasts are reported from Guwahati. “Two to three people are suspected to be injured”, Agrawal told the media here. Agarwal said that a sound erupted as a young boy was clearing the dump, but it was a bomb nor a grenade.
