Twitter Reacts in Horror to Alleged Leslie Jones Hacking

Jones is a celebrated comedian, and has been a cast member on Saturday Night Live since 2013.

The cruel cyberpunk topped Jones’ site with a tribute video to the late Cincinnati Zoo gorilla Harambe, a 17-year-old Western lowland ape that was shot in May when a young boy fell into his enclosure.

Although she has yet to comment on this particular instance, Jones has been outspoken against online harassment since her the incident on Twitter in July.

Jones took on the attackers, calling some of them out for being racist and sexist; she then quit Twitter for a brief period. A representative for Jones did not immediately reply to USA TODAY’s request for comment, either.
