Twitter Reacts To Rachel Lindsay’s Debut On The Bachelorette!
But Rachel revealed that the words of wisdom Raven gave her just before her first one-on-one date with Nick last season really resonated with her.
First of all, can we talk about how unusual some of Rachel’s suitors are already?
Coinciding with the first part of the two-part finale of NBC’s hit show “The Voice”, the season debut of “The Bachelorette” features 31-year-old stunner Rachel Lindsay, an attorney from Dallas. “I like Adam”, she said after he walked away, “not Adam Jr”.
“Hi, I’m Alex. I’m actually with the cleanup crew”, the 28-year-old information systems supervisor told Lindsay as he danced up to her with a vacuum.
Rachel sits down with some of the women she met on Nick’s season – Corinne, Jasmine, Whitney, Alexis, Kristina, Raven, and Astrid, a.k.a. the dream team when it comes to advice. She also wanted to find someone who was on the same page as her in terms of their future goals, not to mention someone who likes sports. There’s been a lot of talk about how she’s the first African-American star of the franchise, and she tells ABC Radio she’s feeling the pressure, though she’s trying to roll with it. These comments could be chalked up to the younger contestants’ bitterness about being rejected. Don’t ask me what that is, because I still have no freakin’ idea.
And then came the entrances. The first individual date of the season goes to Peter Kraus and Bachelorette spoilers detail that Rachel and Peter will head to Palm Springs to check out a dog festival.
Brady crushed a block of ice with a sledgehammer before even introducing himself to the Bachelorette.
Jonathan – 31 year-old doctor from New Smyrna Beach, FL.
Lucas – 30 year-old “whaboom” (we’re exhausted of that line already) from Santa Monica, CA. He was annoying, for sure, but she kind of seemed to dig it.
And as usual, numerous suitors attempt to make a mind-blowing first impression by trotting out props and gimmicks. Plus, he spoke Spanish which she liked.
Or maybe she’s just a good actress. She admitted she was taken aback but definitely didn’t hate it.
Sales manager Will, 28, made quite the impression with his hilarious Urkel impression. But most people know him better as “Reality Steve”. “But I can’t help but think that’s not the case”, Farley writes. Was he eating her face? However, one of the men who didn’t make the cut is continuing on his reality television journey in order to find his flawless match.
Rob, 29. A law student, Rob claims Rachel has “always been my bachelorette first-round draft pick”.
The men that got eliminated tonight on The Bachelorette Season 13 are Blake Killpack, Grant Hubsher, Jedidiah Ballard, Kyle Sherwood, Michael, Milton, Mo Sehgal and Rob Howard! Yes, whaboom got a rose.
