Twitterverse roars with laughter over tiger at Packard
Shortly after posting the video, Didorosi wrote on Facebook that the tiger was secure.
But overall Didorosi wasn’t impressed with the photoshoot. Neither are crisper ones on Instagram of the same visitor (the one on the left) outside the Packard Plant today. This is one of those times, and yes, it’s very real.
David Yarrow was reportedly looking to snap pictures of a bobcat, two wolves and a tiger, which briefly got loose and hid out in a staircase, until authorities shut the shoot down, the Detroit Free Press reports. We never approved any animals being on the site, and we had the matter taken care of in the first hour.
When the owners were told a live tiger had been brought on site, they closed down the shoot. “This is nothing we signed on for”.
She said the crew did get a permit to work in the plant, but did not tell plant officials that they intended to bring a tiger into the building.
► “The real question is: Can it pitch out of the bullpen?”
Kari Smith, director of development for the Packard Plant, confirmed the tiger was inside the plant as part of a photo shoot along with two other large cats.
► “I bet I can guess what’s the mystery meat at Green Dot next week”.
