Two Dead in Shooting Outside Federal Building in Manhattan, Officials Say

Friday evening call-out… one man was killed and another injured in the late afternoon shooting.

The suspect entered the constructing simply after 5 p.m. (2100 GMT) and instantly shot the guard with a handgun, police stated. “He had an intended target beyond the security officer”, said O’Neill, declining to elaborate.

In a 2012 letter, Rothman asked U.S. Labor Secretary Hilda Solis to examine Downing’s complaint.

The deadly murder-suicide of a security guard by a gunman at a federal building in Manhattan has left authorities scrambling to figure out what was behind the attack. “We saw at least eight to ten cops running in front and so many, at least 50-60 people running towards us and the cop literally opened our door and said ‘Get out of the vehicle with your kids!”
