Two gators have a scuffle at a Florida golf course
Two gators, at least 10 feet long, were fighting right on the course.
“I was thinking, I have to get my camera to take pictures”, Sarles said.
Sarels quickly whipped out her camera to snap photos of them wrestling. Nearby, on the fourth hole, two gators were duking it out.
“You could see them both chomping”. The photo was posted on the golf course’s Facebook page around 5 p.m. Monday along with another photo that shows Goliath scaling a wooden seawall as he gets out of a pond on the golf course.
‘There was some fellas waiting to tee off and, of course, they had to hold up until [the gators] finished their shenanigans, ‘ Dee told WFLA.
Spotting gators at Myakka Pines is nothing new. But this was different.
The bigger alligator is nicknamed “Goliath” by the locals.
Within ten minutes, the bout was over, and Goliath was the victor.
This isn’t the first time photos of the mammoth gator have gone viral: in May, Goliath became an internet hit after golfers posted a photo of him chowing down on a turtle near one the course’s water traps.
