Two Stabbing Attacks Thwarted In West Bank, Terrorists Killed
A 20-year-old Israeli woman was killed in a stabbing attack – the fourth attack in the West Bank in less than 24 hours.

A Palestinian radio station in Hebron has been stormed and closed down by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) as part of an “incitement” crackdown campaign launched by the Israeli government in the wake of deadly terror attacks on Israelis.
On Thursday, five people – three Israelis, a Palestinian and an American – were killed in two attacks on one of the bloodiest days during the recent heightened tensions.
This week’s stepped-up scope of attacks have Israeli analysts debating about the extent to which last Friday’s massacre in Paris had an influence on local terrorists operating against innocent Israelis.
The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the man’s death but did not immediately provide more details on him, Reuters reported. A military spokesman said the assailant was shot and killed.
Following Sunday’s attack, Magen David Adom paramedic Zaki Yahav said that when he arrived at the scene he saw “a young woman in her twenties lying unconscious with stab wounds to her upper body on the sidewalk near the bus stop”.
Also in the flashpoint city, Israeli police said a woman acting suspiciously and allegedly in possession of a knife was arrested.
US Secretary of State John Kerry on his visit to Israel and the Palestinian Authority is not planning to restart peace talks or broker any agreement.
He was identified as 34-year-old Issa Thawabta from Beit Fajjar in Bethlehem area, just south of Gush Etzion illegal settlement.
Later a Palestinian man was shot dead after what Israeli police claimed that he tried to ram his taxi into civilians in the West Bank and charged at them with a knife.
More than 80 Palestinians were killed during this period, a few in clashes with Israeli security forces, while others were gunned down by security forces and vigilante citizens after allegedly trying to commit attacks against Israelis.
Palestinians seek diplomatic and economic recognition for their independent state on the territories of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, partially occupied by Israel, and the Gaza Strip.
