Two wounded in shooting at PNC Bank Arts Center
The shooting happened outside the venue just after 11 p.m., according to New Jersey State Police, as reported by CBS2 and various Twitter sources.
Two people were shot and New Jersey State Police were searching the woods for the gunman outside a hip hop concert at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel tonight, authorities told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
Gregory Williams said the shooting happened outside the arena, but couldn’t say where particularly.
Two people were wounded and taken away for treatment via Medevac helicopter, police said. Their conditions and identities have not yet been released. The pair are scheduled to perform at New York’s Madison Square Garden Tuesday night.
The shooting allegedly occurred after the Forest Hill Drive Tour concert, which featured performances by hip-hop artists J. Cole, YG, Big Sean and Jeremih. WPIX reported that the shooting took place while the concert was going on inside.
Eighteen-year-old Omayma Bougdour tells the Daily News gunfire began after an argument broke out in the parking lot.
“Everyone started sprinting and stampeding”, she said.
