Tyga and His Landlord Reach A Settlement

Rapper Tyga is off the hook: a warrant for his arrest has been recalled after he paid part of the $480,000 judgment he owed his former landlord.

“There is a hold on him transferring any assets while there is a judgment outstanding – that’s going to be a separate action to recover that auto unless the judgment is satisfied – and he’s to appear in court, be placed under oath and he needs to answer questions”.

Kylie Jenner’s on-again, off-again boyfriend was scheduled to field questions from his former landlord’s legal team about his finances.

Three months after moving in, Tyga allegedly stopped paying rent and the landlord attempted to have the “Molly” rapper evicted.

“So basically, we want that money back!”

Tyga quickly lawyered up and was able to get in touch with his scorned landlord.

Tyga, who has been dating reality TV star Kylie Jenner, claimed poverty, refusing to pay the settlement ordered by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Nancy Newman. With the new car, Kylie sold her velvet-wrapped 2015 Mercedes Benz G-Class G63 AMG through Newport Coast Auto, a car dealership based in Orange County where the vehicle’s price is listed at $145,000, reported Daily Mail. That was bad timing for the rapper, who found out that not all gifts are as awesome as the trouble-making vehicle he bought for Kylie.
