Tyronn Lue believes David Blatt should coach East All-Stars

James realizes the public believes he was a factor in Blatt’s firing, but said he stopped caring what people think long ago.

Griffin’s decision to change coaches led to speculation that James was behind the move.

James referred to his coach as simply “Blatt” during much of last season, and any interaction between the two seemed forced and insincere. LeBron doesn’t run this organization. This narrative that somehow we’re taking direction from him, it’s just not fair. “But frankly, it’s kind of not fair to me and our group anymore”. “I talked to the guys about playing the game the right way, having more spacing, playing with more pace”. Though Cleveland went 30-11 under Blatt, its players were often more morose than motivated.

“He made the change that he felt was appropriate for this team and like it or love it or hate it or whatever, we’ve got to respect it….”

James was reportedly not consulted on the decision to dismiss Blatt. Indications are Lue has the respect of James and other volatile personalities in the locker room, which include Love and J.R. Smith. Chris Bosh had 26 points for Miami.

Harrison has appeared in nine games for Charlotte. Victor Oladipo scored 29 points for the Magic. He sat out 10 of Cleveland’s previous 13 games.

If there is a bright spot, it’s Derrick Rose. He was previously an assistant coach on Doc Rivers’ staff with the Los Angeles Clippers.

In New Orleans, Ryan Anderson led a blistering perimeter attack by making a season-high six three-pointers for 23 points, and Anthony Davis added 22 points, to lift the surging New Orleans Pelicans to a 116-99 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Marcus Morris top-scored for the Pistons with 20 points in a tight affair but after Reggie Jackson missed a contested lay-up, Denver eased out the final seconds. Khris Middleton, and Greg Monroe scored 21 points each for the Bucks. The Cavaliers’ starters did their part by engaging the crowd during pregame introductions for the first time in months, but lost steam once the game began.
