U.S. State Department releases new trove of Hillary Clinton’s emails
Ms Clinton struggled to fit into the government of President Barack Obama after being appointed secretary of state in 2009, according to emails released by the state department on Tuesday. In theory, this means that if Clinton is the Democratic nominee she’ll be able to go back to these donors for more.
Campus Reform set up an informal survey called “Candidates’ Cribs” in front of the White House recently. The email chain did not contain a response from Blumenthal. Blumenthal acted as an advisor to Clinton on subjects ranging from intelligence to media messaging. Initially, the State Department had requested to release the emails all at once at that time.
Writing to chief of staff Cheryl Mills, Mrs Clinton said: “So sad and bad”.
On December 2, 2009, Duffy again wrote to Clinton. The reply, from communications aide Philippe Reines, asked whether Clinton wasn’t supposed to be making a speech just then.
The document contained no response from Reines.
Clinton is among more than a dozen White House hopefuls to declare their 2016 ambitions in the past three months, and Tuesday was the last day for their campaigns to collect donations that must be reported to federal regulators by July 15.
More debates means “we can take the issues that define our campaign – income inequality, taking on Wall Street, creating jobs – directly to voters across the country”, Sanders said on June 26. The meeting turned out not to be a full cabinet meeting.
Clinton: “I arrived for the 10:15 am mtg and was told there was no mtg”. “This is the second time this has happened. What’s up???”
Some of the emails also have mention about India, but these are mostly related to her India travel in 2009.
Clinton: “I am on the mend”.
Ms. Clinton is the first 2016 presidential contender to report even a rough total on the fundraising numbers, which are viewed as an early indicator of a candidate’s appeal and staying power in the race.
Instead of just offering typical campaign bumper stickers, buttons and mugs, the “Hillary for America” store has been offering much more enticing memorabilia.
“You all are unbelievable – the world adores you! A million thanks!” Marshall continued. She said she got rid of about 30,000 emails she deemed exclusively personal.
This e-mail, sent right after Senator Ted Kennedy died in August 2009, provides a glimpse at what it means to deal with the death of a friend when you’re Hillary Clinton. “So did Donna Brazile”.
Lindsey Graham, a Republican senator from South Carolina, announced he would run for the highest office on Jun. 1.
In an exchange with John Podesta (pictured), who now chairs Clinton’s presidential campaign, she told him: “Please wear socks to bed to keep your feet warm”.
