UAlbany Tennis Dons Pink Shirts for Breast Cancer Awareness

The five-mile walk raised money and awareness for breast cancer treatments and prevention programs. Community Manager for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Terri Kangas said that just seeing it gets her excited about events.
Apart from that if a woman has started having oral contraceptives before the age of 40 and before menopause had a 50% higher chance of suffering from breast cancer.
“Love makes you do insane things, I guess”, he said.
“Me and my God don’t believe that, we believe that I’m going to be fine”, Lopez said.
The Governor stressed the need for a country-wide initiative being launched by the State governments, private parties, NGOs and other stakeholders, to generate widespread awareness about the high incidence of breast cancer among women.
“We definitely encourage wearing pink, we will have a few great merchandise for sale at our walk which is part of our fundraising and those funds go to grants and research provided by the American Cancer Society”, said Johnson.
The American Cancer Society says breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death to women in the U.S.
