Uncharted 4 Ending Was Cause for 2016 Delay
Something happened that needs a bit quite of work on the game, so the team admitted to reduce their scope and ambition to meet that deadline. I’d prefer Naughty Dog to take its time to ensure a fitting end to Nathan Drake’s story, especially since he’s one of the more memorable video game protagonists of the last decade. As a huge Uncharted fan, I can get behind that development philosophy.
Originally expected to come out this fall, Gamesradar is reporting that Uncharted 4 was pushed to March 16, 2016 in order to make sure that the game offers a satisfying conclusion. Each game in Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection runs at 1080p/60FPS with better lighting, textures, and models. So there is no reason that the Uncharted 4 delay was delayed because of some technical difficulties.
Neil Druckmann, creative director and writer of Naughty Dog has disclosed a vital piece of information on “The Last of Us”. “Nah, I’m not going to say it!” he exclaimed.
Ultimately, because “this is the last chapter for Nathan Drake”, Naughty Dog weighed the choices between fans and their expectations, and made a decision to give themselves as much time as possible and “go all-out for this series”.
According to Druckmann, “Even when I’m describing the ending, it’s a pretty…” The beta is set to start on December 4 and run until December 13, though no additional details regarding maps, characters, or game modes have yet been revealed. Nolan North, who is a regular at Naughty Dog and has given his voice, has disclosed that he is aware that the two are thinking of new ideas for “The Last of Us 2″.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be out on March 18 of next year and will also be offered on the PlayStation 4.
