Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Announced at PlayStation Experience!
No release window for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy was announced, but considering we just got Uncharted 4, it may be a while. SIE Worldwide Chairman Shawn Layden wouldn’t say, but we’ll update you as soon as Naughty Dog is ready to talk.
No, the mysterious trailer showcased a woman in disguise, before popping off her mask to reveal Chloe, one of the standout characters of the series since Uncharted 2. She moves through several areas before heading to a nearby rooftop to meet her contact. “It’s our biggest story expansion to-date and will be available as a standalone game on store shelves and for digital download”, Naughty Dog explained in a recent post.
But that’s fine, because it’s more Uncharted 4. However, any more specific information about the story was unfortunately kept secret.
The Lost Legacy focuses on Chloe and Nadine, both of whom are main characters in the core game going by the trailer, which looks fantastic by the way. The video shows Chloe in some exotic land. It was also revealed that The Lost Legacy will be longer than The Last of Us: Left Behind DLC. Up until today almost everyone had money on Naughty Dog announcing an Uncharted 4 DLC chapter staring Sully and Sam.
As far as gameplay is concerned, Margenau said Chloe will have her “own fighting personality”, and won’t be as “brawly” as Nathan Drake.
There’s no word yet on when this is coming, and while it wasn’t stated explicitly, you can safely assume it’ll be a PS4 exclusive whenever it arrives.
